Porsche Touch Up Paint - Guaranteed Match (696 OEM Colors)

For Porsche, Porsche paint codes are often hard to find. They are usually near the spare tire area, printed on a paper color ID tag that may fall off with time. The owner's manual for some models sometimes lists paint codes. Porsche uses the same color across different models, and the same code may appear under different color names. Codes can be four characters starting with L or three characters, using letters and numbers. If that label is missing or hard to read, use the Porsche paint code guide or ask a dealer parts department to look up the code by VIN.

It is usually a short group of letters, numbers, or both on the vehicle label. It is not the VIN, and it is usually shorter than the color name.

No. The VIN can help a dealer find the paint code, but it is not the paint code you should select on the order page.

Ask a dealer parts department to look up the paint code by VIN, or check the original paperwork. If the vehicle was repainted, confirm the current paint before ordering paint mixed by the original code.

For Porsche touch up paint, choose by repair size: pen for tiny chips, bottle for small chips or short scratches, spray can for larger areas that can be masked, and PRO sizes for panel or spray-gun work. A kit is useful when primer, clearcoat, sanding, or polishing supplies are needed with the paint.
