Itasca All Models Touch Up Paint (135 OEM Colors)

The Color Breakdown

Itasca clearly didn't want anyone feeling left out, recording a staggering 127 colors across their lineup. They really leaned into the "sophisticated explorer" vibe, giving us what I like to call the "Great Outdoors Palette." You've got everything from Sandstone Grey and mohave Mist to the very specific Cinnamon Glaze. Whether your rig is finished in Iron Gray or the aptly named New Wind Veil, it's clear they were going for colors that look just as good parked under a desert sunset as they do in a forest trailhead. It's a lot of neutrals, but with names like Black Garnet Metallic, they definitely "went for it" on the high-end finishes.

What to Watch For

When you're hunting for your paint code, don't just look at the door-Itasca likes to play a little hide-and-seek. You'll usually find the code on the driver's door jamb, but here's the trick: look for a two-character code sitting *above* the words "Exterior Paint Code." If it's not there, check your "InfoCase" (that big bag of manuals every owner cherishes) for the Motor Home Component Information Sheet.

In terms of wear, these big rigs live their lives in the sun, which can be tough on the "roof radius"-that curved area where the roof meets the sides. Keep a close eye on your storage compartment door edges and the front cap; these spots tend to see the most action from road debris and UV rays. If you notice the shine starting to look a bit chalky or thin, it's time to step in before the elements get a head start.

Driveway Repair Tip

Since so many Itasca colors are heavy on the metallics and pearls-like Brilliant Silver Metallic or Pewter Pearl-your best friend is a vigorous arm workout. Shake that touch-up bottle or pen for at least 60 seconds longer than you think you need to. Those tiny metallic flakes like to settle at the bottom, and you need them floating evenly to get that factory glow. When applying, remember that Itasca paint loves "thin and patient" over "thick and quick." Dab a tiny amount onto the center of the chip and let it flow to the edges. If the color looks a little off at first, don't panic-metallics often require patience and a second light coat to find their true personality.
