After nearly two decades of baking in the sun, many of these rigs are showing the classic "checking" or "micro-cracking" on the upper radius and front caps. Once the UV protection in that thin clear coat gives up the ghost, the metallic pigments underneath, like your Graphite or Canyon Red, start to lose their bond. Restoration Tip
