What to Watch For

While the CooperSE is a modern electric marvel, its skin is surprisingly sensitive. Owners often find the clear coat to be a bit "soft," which is a polite way of saying it's a magnet for stone chips on that iconic, flat front nose. You might also notice the paint feels a little thin near the edges of the door handles or the hatch. To find your exact color match, skip the guesswork: open your passenger door and look for a black sticker on the center pillar (the B-pillar).
