Second attempt to match the paint on a 1971 Toyota Land Cruiser in Spring Green. Used another color match offering (not PaintScratch) on eBay for the same requested paint color. Unfortunately, life got in the way of my touch up painting plans and I didn't check the paint color. Not even remotely close but I had exceeded their return window and they wouldn't offer any other solution except repurchasing. So, I definitely wanted to try another source & found PaintScratch. Their online ordering process showed the correct paint color and that is exactly what I received with very quick shipping. I've now used the paint and it's a good match.

The primer and paint pens were decent in quality, but I underestimated how little volume was in there. I'm not saying there's less in the product than advertised, mind you; but, rather I misjudged how much was needed to fill the areas on my vehicle. I will soon make a purchase for the brush type of primer and paint.

The order page allows for an original paint location ID or the auto VIN to be used to conform paint color. The paint received included a statement on the info sheet that VIN number, not the paint location info would "guarantee" color match. Would probably be clearer if this info was included on the order page. Regardless, the color was curate even though I submitted the paint location info from the car door frame.
