Perfect color match!

I ordered the spray paint can option for both the paint and the clearcoat for a Madza CX-30, replacement fuel door that I have had tonreplace 3 times in 4 years of owning it (cheap plastic clips that hold it on break easily), the paint color is an exact match, but I cant seem to get the clear coat to have a smooth finish to match the rest of the car. I am sure its my application method, but it kind of looks like it has a textured finish. Indiana have that with just the paint application.
