Your Paint Color Profile

TENNK - Beige

The Look

Your Renault carries a shade that belongs to a very specific moment in time. This color was a brief but sophisticated choice across the entire lineup for the 2009 model year, offering a refined alternative to the more common silvers of that era. It is a hardworking neutral that does an excellent job of masking road dust and light grime, making it one of the most practical choices for a daily driver. Because your car has likely been on the road for well over a decade, you will find that this tone blends remarkably well with the natural aging of the clear coat, helping your repairs disappear into the original finish.

Technical Details

This is not a simple flat color. It features a metallic pearl finish, which means the paint is filled with tiny reflective particles that give the surface its characteristic depth. These flakes are heavier than the paint itself and tend to sink to the bottom of the container while it sits on your shelf. If you apply the paint without thoroughly mixing it, you risk creating a finish that looks blotchy or uneven. When the light hits those clustered flakes, they can create dark spots known as mottling, so your goal is to keep those particles evenly distributed as you work.

Best Practices

You can find your paint information on the sticker located inside the door frame, usually on the driver or passenger side pillar. Before you spray or dab Renault Beige (check for code TENNK), you need to shake it for 60 seconds. This ensures the metallic particles are fully suspended so the color matches the rest of your car. Always test the color on the included card to verify the tone before touching the actual bodywork. To keep the finish even, keep the container moving across the surface and avoid letting the paint pool in one spot. Work in your garage or a patch of shade to ensure the surface stays cool, and allow plenty of drying time between each thin layer.

How to Find Your Renault's Color Code

The Renault paint color code can be determined by contacting Renault by phone. If a color code is not available, the alternative reference is the PPG or Dupont (Axalta) paint formula number.

Will absolutely order from this company again.

After ordering touch-up paint from Lexus I was still waiting for it a month later. If they'd told me upfront it would take that long I wouldn't have ordered in the first place. Paint Scratch was recommended by a friend who restores cars. Easy ordering, fair price and fast shipping. The color match is great especially considering my car is a 2012. Will absolutely order from this company again. Reason I chose this business: Lexus collision repair and a local collision repair. Will use paint less dent removal and touch up chipped paint myself. Reason I chose this product: Spouse sideswiped passenger side of car while backing out of garage. Mostly plastic transfer from his wheel well trim but pressure creased and cracked the paint causing a bare strip 1/8 wide x 4" long below door handle. Scratches on door handle and a few small chips on both doors.

Simply the best custom mixed paint in spray cans

Used Paint Scratch metallic custom mixed spray cans paint on a hood panel with excellent coverage and texture over the surface. Metallic paint can be very unforgiving out of a spray can, sputtering pigmentation dots on the panel being sprayed and thus ruining the paint job. No such issues with Paint Scratch custom mixed metallic paint spray cans. Paint sprayed strong and evenly till the last drop of paint in the can. Shipping time was faster than expected. Reason I chose this business: Having tried other brands of custom mixed metallic paint with terrible results, sputtering pigmentation tint dots from the spray nozzle in spite of vigorously shaking of can prior to application and loss of propellant rendering the lower fifth of the can's paint useless, Paint Scratch custom mixed metallic paint sprays out beautifully and strong all the way to the last gram of paint in the can. Simply the best custom mixed paint in spray cans for automotive restoration. Thank you Paint Scratch.
