Your Paint Color Profile

B60/PGA - Peacock Green

The Look

This shade is a pure time capsule from the early nineties. It captures that specific era when teals and deep aquatic greens reigned supreme on models like the Talon and the Summit. It is a moody, sophisticated color that shifts from a dark forest hue in the shade to a vibrant, shimmering seafoam when the sun hits it. Since your Eagle has likely seen decades of sun and road grit, the original finish might have darkened slightly over time, but this color remains the definitive look for that 1992-1994 production run.

Technical Details

This is a metallic finish, which means the paint is packed with tiny reflective flakes that provide its signature depth. These flakes are heavy and love to settle at the bottom of the container. If you do not mix them thoroughly, your repair will look patchy or striped, a common issue known as mottling. Before you spray or dab Eagle Peacock Green (check for code B60/PGA), you must shake the container vigorously for at least a full minute to ensure those metallics are suspended evenly.

Best Practices

You will usually find your paint code plate on the firewall, near the center or passenger side, or occasionally stamped on the radiator support. Before applying any paint to the car, test the color on the included card to see how the metallic flake reacts to the light. When you are ready to apply, keep the container moving in steady, overlapping passes. If you linger too long in one spot, the metallic particles will bunch up and create a heavy, uneven look. Use several thin layers rather than one thick coat, and give the surface plenty of drying time between applications to ensure a professional result in your garage or shade.

How to Find Your Eagle's Color Code

Where to find the Eagle paint color code: Determined directly by Eagle. When a color code is not present, the designated reference is the PPG or Dupont (Axalta) paint formula number. Practically, the source for the code is Eagle; lacking a code, identification proceeds by the PPG or Dupont (Axalta) formula number. This outlines that Eagle handles color codes, while PPG or Dupont (Axalta) formulas apply if a code is absent.

Will absolutely order from this company again.

After ordering touch-up paint from Lexus I was still waiting for it a month later. If they'd told me upfront it would take that long I wouldn't have ordered in the first place. Paint Scratch was recommended by a friend who restores cars. Easy ordering, fair price and fast shipping. The color match is great especially considering my car is a 2012. Will absolutely order from this company again. Reason I chose this business: Lexus collision repair and a local collision repair. Will use paint less dent removal and touch up chipped paint myself. Reason I chose this product: Spouse sideswiped passenger side of car while backing out of garage. Mostly plastic transfer from his wheel well trim but pressure creased and cracked the paint causing a bare strip 1/8 wide x 4" long below door handle. Scratches on door handle and a few small chips on both doors.

Simply the best custom mixed paint in spray cans

Used Paint Scratch metallic custom mixed spray cans paint on a hood panel with excellent coverage and texture over the surface. Metallic paint can be very unforgiving out of a spray can, sputtering pigmentation dots on the panel being sprayed and thus ruining the paint job. No such issues with Paint Scratch custom mixed metallic paint spray cans. Paint sprayed strong and evenly till the last drop of paint in the can. Shipping time was faster than expected. Reason I chose this business: Having tried other brands of custom mixed metallic paint with terrible results, sputtering pigmentation tint dots from the spray nozzle in spite of vigorously shaking of can prior to application and loss of propellant rendering the lower fifth of the can's paint useless, Paint Scratch custom mixed metallic paint sprays out beautifully and strong all the way to the last gram of paint in the can. Simply the best custom mixed paint in spray cans for automotive restoration. Thank you Paint Scratch.
