Hi - I bought a 2nd hand Infiniti G20 1996, Black, and there were many tiny scratches: some deep, some surface. So I went and bought a can of spray paint (black) and clear coat. As I was trying to repair those scratches, I spray painted more areas than I need as I was getting nervous. Then I sanded down with 1500 grit paper, and applied spray-on clear coat. However there was extra clearcoat dripping on some areas, as well as extra paint on some areas underneath despite my trying to sand it down... now it looks a little funny on all these areas.... Do I need to ... pay and redo this whole horrible nightmare I've caused? Or do I try to remove the extra paint/clearcoat with rubbing compound and then try and polish/wax it aftewards? Any help would be great. Thanks!! |
