Another wound of the previous owner is a really poorly touched up ding on the side of the door, there is a gigantic glob of paint that is covering a very tiny ding. It looks pretty awful in the sun. I ordered some new touch up paint, and clear coat, and rubbing compound from paintscratch.com. It doesn't look liek there was anty clearcoat put on there. What I wanted to do was try and use the rubbing compound to blend it somewhat, will that help or hurt it at all? Should I put some clearcoat on?

your rubbing compound completely fixed it! It didn't hurt any of the surrounding paint and took all the touch up paint off! thanks! |
