I am very impressed by the reviews of a few friends of mine that have used your services. I wanted to know if you can help me with with a paint match to my 2003 SSR rims. I know they have no paint code however, these rims have a small cover over the lug which is finished in the exact color of the rim. I would be able to mail the small cover to you if you were able to use this as a paint code. I really am at a loss other than a high dollar repair for a minor cosmetic scratch. I also wanted to know if when you apply the basecoat to rock chips if the paint needs clearcoat to match EXACTY. I used the manufacturers touchup for Slingshot Yellow and it looks just a tint darker than the rest of the paint, but I have not applied clearcoat thinking the bottle of basecoat is all that is needed (I used Langka, to smooth it out and it worked great) I want to say thank you for any help you provide and I look forward to ordering from you within the week. |

You will need custom matching if we cannot match the rim to an existing color code. Please visit: https://www.paintscratch.com/products/custom.html for complete information on custom matching.
Yes, clearcoat is essential for a good match, but usually darkens the color even more. |
