I noticed some scratches and marks on the left side of my hood and decided to try and touch it up with the spray paint. Everything goes fine until I get to the clear coat. I guess since it's such a wide area but I can't get the clearcoat to go on right or blend in with the existing clearcoat. What can I do? Can you just go to a body shop and have them put the clearcoat on? Thanks!!! |

Try to spray the clearcoat to an edge. You can also rub out imperfections in the clearcoat with medium grade rubbing compound. |
