I noticed some scratches and marks on the left side of my hood and decided to try and touch it up with the spray paint. Everything goes fine until I get to the clear coat. I guess since it's such a wide area but I can't get the clearcoat to go on right or blend in with the existing clearcoat. What can I do? Can you just go to a body shop and have them put the clearcoat on? Thanks!!! |

Try to spray the clearcoat to an edge. You can also rub out imperfections in the clearcoat with medium grade rubbing compound.
The easiest way to order the additional products, like rubbing compound, is to use our online store at https://www.paintscratch.com/cgi-bin/storefront.cgi (secure site). |
