Hi all,
I have a questions about the clearcoat drying times if you live in a hot area.
I'm in The Bahamas, and am desperate to minimize my 'down time' as this is my only transportation, and thought I started on a holiday weekend, I'm stuck till Tuesday with no vehicle if I stick to the three day dry time.
The average temperature in my garage, where I'm doing the paint job, is 82-85 degrees...
Is there anyway this can help reduce the drying time? I'm desperate, but want to hear from the pros before I do anything silly!
Thanks

Your main problem will be humidity. The paint dries very quickly and the hotter it is, the faster it dries. Try to do the paint work in the morning and pick a day when the humidity is under 50%. |
