Is the same thinner/reducer that you sell for the basecoat suitable for the clearcoat with flex?

It doesn't seem to mix too well.  I also get severe 'orange-peeling' effect.

Mix the clearcoat in a 1:1 ratio with the automotive lacquer thinner we sell. Orange peel is caused by the air pressure of your spray equipment, distance to the surface.

Is orange  peel a result of too much or not enuf pressure?  I'm using a Preval so there is no pressure adjustment.  Should I back off a little or am I just in trouble??

You can alter the distance when spraying to make paint lighter or darker and change the texture. But orange peel can be removed with rubbing compound, though it is much easier with a power buffer.
