California, Delaware and Maryland now impose emission regulations on solvent based paint due
to the pollution issues of organic solvents normally used in most basecoat
paints. There is no waterbased clearcoat material as of yet but we expect this
product at some point.
Waterbased paints do not carry the color pigments as well as solvent based
paints. The shine and depth is not as attractive. However, it is much less
polluting. Waterbased paints require more time for drying. These paints can be
used with traditional spray equipment.
