Find Your Two Tones Color & Paint Code

Nissan codes are easy to find as they are always on the drivers door jamb. Some require getting pretty low on the drivers door jamb so you can read them, but the code is easy to read and understand. If you cannot locate your color label, you can call Nissan, provide them with your VIN, and they will tell you your color code over the phone. Nissan's North America phone number is 1-800-647-7261.

Typical Nissan color code format

In the example above, the code is "AX6" which corresponds to the Nissan color Redline Clearcoat. Nissan paint color codes are typically three digits long and made up of numbers and letters. Sometimes these three digits are followed by a small space and a fourth digit - but you can ignore this fourth digit.

Same Color Code, Different Name
Nissan, like all manufacturers, uses the exact same color across many models and then will have a different color name for each model. It's the same paint! This is why the color code is so important to order the correct paint.

For example, AX6, above we call Redline Clearcoat. It could also be called Red Clearcoat, High Performance  Clearcoat, etc. depending on what the Nissan marketing department decided to call it.
