I had a small scratch in my front fender.  I tryed to compound it out and damaged the clear in the bend in the fender, near the wheel well.
The dull spot is on the crease about an inch in lenth and 1/8" in width.

What do I do?

Body shop wants to spray the entire fender for this tiny imperfection.  The car is an 06 cts caddilac and I dont want to respray it.

Can you advise?

The body shop is correct if you want it perfect again. The fender will have to be re-painted and clearcoated as once the clearcoat is gone, it needs paint.

You can also try some of our clearcoat and apply several coats with the paint pen and then use our rubbing compound to smooth it out.
