I tried applying the clearcoat(pen) over paint that was also applied with a pen.  I has been dried for several days now. I cleaned the area with mild soap and water and applied the clearcoat.

I also used the clearcoat with brush on another painted area without any problems.  I did not apply any pressure to the pen so why is it stripping the paint and what can be done about it?

A reply will be appreciated with tremendous gratitude.
