I can't tell how big this is, but if is bigger than a pencil eraser, then you need to use a spray can.

damn, i was afraid you would say that.
so would i sand the area down using really fine ssanpaper, then maybe wet sand? 1 light coat, then 2 thinck ones, then a coat or 2 of clear coat?

Will do. i ordered the touch up pen and clearcloat, i shoul dbe getting some paint from a buddy, my color. and ill put that into the paint gun i have and do the best i can.

You are going to want to pick a place to spray the clearcoat too. So I would scuff a much larger area so you can spray clearcoat about a foot wider than the repair, preferably to an edge. See https://www.paintscratch.com/touch-up-paint-directions/blend.htm. Also, I would scuff about six inches more on either side so when you spray the primer and basecoat, it will adhere properly.

i went and bought the primer and Omniclear261 clear coat today.
