Hi,

My girlfriend scratched the bejeebies out of the bottom of her bumper last night.  I'm a super noob at car painting stuff and need help.

It's a white 2005 Civic.  (don't have the color code yet), it's under the passenger side light assembly and is pretty deep.  it's about 5 or 6 inches long, and I think it might be pretty deep, too.

So my question is this:

What products do I need to get to fix this?  Also, do the products come with a step by step guide of what to do when?

Like I said, I've never done this before, and since it's a new car, I don't want to do it wrong, so any and all help would be greatly apprecitated.

Thanks!

Timbo

We have a great section on our website at: https://www.paintscratch.com/whatorder.htm that will tell you exactly what to order.

It also sounds like you may need some filler if the scratches are deep. If they are not too deep, you can use multiple coats of primer to fill them. Sand the area smooth and then use a spray can of basecoat and clearcoat as per the directions on the PaintScratch site: https://www.paintscratch.com/touch-up-paint-directions/.
