I painted my bumper this past Sunday and I am not happy with the results. I cleaned the bumper, lightly sanded the whole bumber, cleaned it, applied the bulldog adhesion, applied 3 coats of base coat, next morning applied the clear coat.

Problem:
The bumper has a rough texture after the basecoat and clear coat (is this normal?)
The clearcoat was a bit hazy and not smooth as is dried?
I buffed out a small area to see if the buffing would help, and it looks even worse than before?
What is the problem?

Tomorrow my buddy is going to bring in his porter cable and I will try to buff it out with the machine I hope this smoohts out the bumper and give me a high gloss shine. I also bought 2000 gret wet sand paper just in case i need to go furhter in getting my results. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

Please see:

We suggest sanding as you go. If the basecoat is rough you should
sand all but the final coat. Also rubberized primer and
Bulldog are recommended:

If you are spray painting a non-metal surface, such as a urethane bumper, you should order the Bulldog Adhesion Promoter as this is required for proper paint adhesion. The Adhesion Promoter is only required when you are spraying the paint and not for the touch up bottles and paint pens. Rubberized Primer is still recommended for unpainted non-metal surfaces and should be applied over the Bulldog Adhesion Promoter. Our clearcoat no longer requires the flex additive.
