Hi, I want to mold my fender flares onto the body of my car but i dont know how exactly to do it. I know i have to sand the areas or else the bondo wont stick on the surface good. The car is a 2004 so the existing paint is still strong and good. What grit sand paper should i use around the fender flare area? And should i use primer with flex additives? the fender is metal but the flare is urethane. Thanx for your help. |

Usually you sand bondo with 80 grit to start and then finish out with 220. You should use a primer with flex on the area as it will stick to both. |
