I have a black truck and bought a paint pen  kit to fix some of the scratches...i applied several thin coats of basecoat and waited for it to dry...after applying rubbin compound, the area around the scratch is hazy...what to do now? the area looks worse now...will waxing help help th area?
need some suggestions.

You may have either used the wrong rubbing compound or you did not use an old, clean, cotton  T-Shirt to apply it with. You can remove the haze by applying polishing compound which is like a very fine rubbing compound.

i followed the instructions to thw word...old tshirt and everything....the rubbing compound from your kit....now it looks hazy and worse...what kind of polishing compound do i need to get? how dod i apply that?

Any fine polishing compound will work. Again, apply with an old T-Shirt.
If the T-Shirt had even the slightest little dirt, it could make the haze. But no worries, the polishing compound will take the haze out.
