I just realized I did something awful. I had ordered both a flex and a regular primer, but received 2 identical flex primers. Since they were both the same I didn't really think anything about it and primed an entire fender that I sanded to the metal with the flex primer. Does anyone know what I need to do to fix this? Will this never hold the paint to a metal surface since it has the added flex? It took me eons to sand it down and all I really want to do is cry. Do I have to sand all of the primer off now? Thanks for any advice you can give me!

You can actually use the flex primer on metal so really no problem here. Just go ahead and paint over it once the primer is smooth.
