This is a super helpful site!

Here's another question:

I just bought new mudguards for my car.  They're fairly typical in that they are black and are made of a medium hard plastic.

Can these be painted to match my car?  My concern is this: Would the flex added to the paint be enough or would the the paint flake off from too much flexing?

Would I need some sort of primer to be applied first?

Cheers,
-bob

Yes, these can be painted. You want to first coat them with a rubberized primer, followed by a basecoat and clearcoat. The clearcoat should have the flex added. We sell everything you need on our site.

Hey, one more question, can I have a more detailed description on how to go about painting these mud guards from sanding to the final clear coat process?

I already check out your bumper paint process but it wasnt detailed enough, I have never painted anything before, this is my first time doing it, I want to see what I am in for.

Thanks in Advance!
